oops...

So, I meant to give everyone the info on the c-section in one of those blogs, but I forgot. Instead of sending everyone individual messages about it, I thought I would just bog again. The c-section is at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday the 31st. I think that's a pretty good birthday. We're asking for a day to recover before we have visitors. I'm guessing that I'll need that long to feel presentable. Besides, somehow we managed to have Jenna a few minutes before visiting hours were over, and we really enjoyed having time to get to know each other as a family before we had visitors. It was great! We kind of wanted to recreate that same environment this time. (I highly recommend it to any of you getting ready to have a baby of your own.)

Yesterday I had a better day. Josh kept me busy playing with clay and baking. I made some pretty cool crafty things to decorate above Jenna's bed, and then Josh made pumpkin pie and I made chocolate cake.

I slept better last night, but I've decided that my latest beef with having a c-section is that all of these contractions that I'm having to put up with are now useless. Stupid contractions making me uncomfortable and waking me up. Oh well... :)

At least they make you more anxious to just get the c-section over with. Plus it will help your uterus know what to do to keep the bleeding down after you have the baby. Very importan, especially for you. Love you.

Just think, in 4 days it will not be contractions waking you up. It will be a sweet little one with tiny fingers and toes; making cute baby noises; nuzzling for something to eat. It is amazing how love does not run out; it just grows with each new baby.
