ultrasound...

With Jenna, I had to wait 20 weeks before my first ultrasound. I don't know why, but when I went in yesterday for my first appointment, I also got my first ultrasound. It was amazing! I had been looking forward to going in and just hearing the heartbeat. That alone makes everything so much more real and exciting, but yesterday the doctor gave me so much more! Basically it looks like a little peanut with little stubs of developing arms and legs, but its little head is fully formed, and you can definitely tell it is a baby. How cool! It even flopped around a little... (yes Kevin, another little trout!) Anyhow, it was super exciting, and it made me even more excited to be pregnant right now!
