my friend...

My friend Gordon is coming home from war. I'll never be able to express how much my heart has hurt for him while he was gone. It's weird growing up and having real life happen. Real life means that one of my dearest friends was in danger and that I could do nothing for him. It will be nice to have him close again, it's been forever since I've been able to have a coffee "date" with him or play cards. It's important to remember that as he comes back many more are leaving. In order for him to come home, he had to be relieved by other soldiers that had to say goodbye to their families. Please keep all of the soldiers in your prayers... both those who are coming home, and those who are just heading over. It will be a big adjustment for both.
